I just purchased the DCC-1200 coffee maker and we do love the coffee it makes, however we do sometimes like to heat leftover coffee later in the day. Is there a way to turn on the hotplate to rewarm the carafe of coffee?

Hello, I own this model and simply turn the coffee maker back on by hitting the start button. I don't warm cold coffee later but I do this to keep the hotplate on for longer than 4 hour periods.

If there is no water in the tank, it will simply beep and the hotplate will start to heat up. It does take some time before a cold coffee pot would be adequately heated.

You could also just microwave it. I do this too sometimes. :)

Hope that helps.
