The updated Appartamento keeps everything that made the original an Italian classic - compact E61, gorgeous fit-and-finish - and adds the Temperature Control Adjustment system that lets you pick from four boiler pressure presets plus an eco mode. It is still an HX machine at heart, so expect the cooling-flush workflow, but the ability to shift boiler temperature without aftermarket mods is a welcome upgrade.
